Main Job Purpose:
To maintain plant and equipment on the Calor ROI Operational sites (Upper Tier COMAH), carry out routine maintenance tasks, addressing reactive maintenance issues in a risk-based approach, control of LPG stocks and perform inter-tank transfers.
The job holder will take instruction on tasks amp; training under the supervision of the Lead Maintenance Fitter.
Main Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Maintenance Team to complete the following:
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly test and inspections for Calor Operational site
- Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance works.
- Maintain and update the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all plant and equipment is tested and inspected in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for the daily stock of product and inter tank transfer of LPG.
- Assist with review and development of standard operating procedures, site specific work instructions and risk assessments.
- Undertake training in new processes and equipment in line with continuous development and take on new tasks as outlined by Tolka Quay Operations Manager amp; National Manager Maintenance.
- Provide supervision for third party contractors on-site under safe systems of work.
- Promote health amp; safety and best work practices including the use of the permit to work system and lock out tag out.
- Conduct stock take for parts and equipment.
- Make proactive and reactive decisions on safety audit and inspection findings. Understand when to refer to higher levels.
- Support Engineering Team with project specific tasks.
- Provide afterhours response as agreed with Terminal Manager.
- Ad hoc duties as allocated by your manager.
Required Skills:
- City and Guilds level 3 Engineering Fitter or equivalent Trade Fitter Qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience preferably within a gas/chemical environment.
- Experience in the use of computerised maintenance management systems to build and maintain schedules of work activities.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in fabrication welding activities desirable.
- Gas Safe Qualification desirable.
- FLT licence desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
