What to expect in the job?

• Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
• Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
• Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
• Responsible for the receipt, organising and hand out of work overalls to production operatives, supervisors, managers, and visitors.
• Responsible for the collection and despatching of soiled workwear to outside laundry company.
• Clean all portable tools, equipment and PPE used by production operatives.
• Responsible for the hand-out and return of production operatives PPE and deboning tools.
• Clean floors, stairways, lockers, walls, and work surfaces within allocated areas
• Clean toilet facilities as per schedule
• Clean smoking areas as per schedule
• Complete all relevant documentation
• Communicate with Supervisors and Operatives from all departments to ensure areas are fully stocked with PPE requirements
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the department manager / factory manager

Requirements

• Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment
• Manual handling ability and awareness
• Commitment to good practice
• Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
• Relationship builder with influencing skills
• Strong team player with a positive, can do attitude
• Shift is from 2pm-10pm. Flexibility may be required during peak times / holiday periods.
