Calor Gas supply and distribute LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and renewable BioLPG to homes and businesses off the natural gas grid.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Calor Domestic Sales Team. Working as part of the Domestic team, this position requires an energetic and driven individual with well-developed interpersonal skills. The primary function of the Domestic Sales Agent is to drive customer awareness and sales in the Domestic Central Heating sector across the country.
The successful candidate will develop awareness throughout the region, through a number of activities, including (but not limited to), door to door sales, local events, trade show days, shopping centre days etc. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with field-based Sales Representatives and the Internal Sales Teams to ensure the growth of the Domestic Central Heating sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive lead generation within the region to increase the number of new Domestic Customer signings
- Build awareness of Calor Central Heating across the region, attending Shows, Events amp; Shopping Centers.
- Conduct door-to-door visits to potential customers within designated geographic areas
- Introduce and explain the features and benefits of our products or services to potential customers
- Use persuasive selling techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings
- Answer questions and address concerns raised by potential customers regarding the products or services
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies and achieve individual and team sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions using CRM software
- Continuously update knowledge of the company's products, services, and industry trends
- Identify and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Represent Calor in a professional manner, networking at industry events to promote the Calor brand and products
- Contribute to the Calor safety culture by always acting in a safe and responsible manner
- Flexibility is a key requirement for this role; evening and weekend hours will be required
- Overnight stays throughout the region will also be a requirement
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable by management
The person:
- Full clean driving license
- Self-motivated, results driven and a can-do attitude
- Adaptable, team-oriented and the ability to work on their own initiative
- Excellent communication, rapport building, and interpersonal skills to drive positive customer engagement
- Experience with IT systems (CRM, Email, Microsoft Office)
