Area Leader

Kepak Group, one of Europe's leading food producers, is currently seeking an Area Leader to join its team. As an individual who is passionate about food production, the Area Leader will oversee and monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality are at their peak. You will be part of a team that is focused on bringing trusted quality and excellent service to the table, using meat craft to develop and grow the business. • Oversee and monitor production processes to ensure ranges are fully operational and running to schedule
• Lead a team of operational staff within the production unit
• Allocate resources to manufacturing schedules and prioritize work flow for efficient operation
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production data
• Work with other departments such as Maintenance, NPD and Quality to ensure seamless processes
• Implement and monitor all hygiene and food safety requirements
• Train, develop and motivate the team to ensure delivery of optimal performance

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Area Leader/Supervisor within food production industry
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP guidelines and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
