Intro -

• This is a 6 month placement for university students!
• An internship with us provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you have learned at university, use your knowledge in practice and live your passion for sports.

The team -

• The Corporate Controlling function plays an integral part in the financial steering of the company
• It includes all aspects of management reporting, financial planning, budgeting and performance management on a company level.
• The analyses and reports provide transparency to the Executive Board and drive both operational and strategic decision making and resource allocation across our Global Sales (markets and channels) and Global Brands (product categories and marketing) matrix organisation.

The job -

• Support execution of selected projects within Corporate Controlling
• Perform financial analysis
• Synthesize complex information for communication to senior leaders
• Drive analysis of financial data on group level, by utilising internal and external sources - combining this information to draw conclusions, considering the company’s goals and financial standing
• Provide tracking and reporting of strategic business plan, annual operating budget and forecasts and insightful ad hoc analysis to understand business drivers of performance for the company and its different performance cells

Requirements

• Student of Business Administration, Economics with focus on Finance, Controlling or Student of a
• Master’s of Economics, Finance or similar
• Must either be:
  • Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  • In the gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
  • Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
• Excellent skills in Excel, advanced skills in other MS Office programs
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Team player who enjoys working in international atmosphere
• Passion for Sports and sporting goods industry
