We are recruiting on behalf a leading provider of care whose aim is to provide outstanding care and a fantastic work environment for the clinical team.

There is an existing experienced management team in place and as well as a settled nursing and HCA teams.

Your aims as an ADON is to provide direction and support to staff in the direct provision of care and support the DON to ensure the delivery of the highest standard of nursing care, while representing the nursing home as a senior manager and act in the best interest of the nursing home and its residents at all times.

Requirements

• Nursing qualification and registration with NMBI
• At least 2 years' experience in a nursing management environment, specifically in care of the elderly
• Post graduate management qualification
• Detailed knowledge if HIQA standards, regulations and the 'Health Act 2007'
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice together with future trends in care of older persons
• Shows an understanding of current legislative policies pertinent to care of the older persons
