Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Pilot Rostering Supervisor to join Europe's largest airline!

The successful candidate will work as part of our Flight Operations department and will be based in our Swords headquarters in Airside Business Park.

The Role

  • Supervision, training and mentoring of Rostering Analysts.
  • Ensuring that a complete and legal roster is produced for weekly 4-week publication.
  • Optimise the rostering patterns to ensure even roster coverage and flights hours for all.
  • Effective reporting of KPI’s to Management.
  • Meeting Targets for roster coverage, stand by, hours and Annual Leave
  • Reporting and communicating to management on problems which arise and suggest solutions on how to overcome them.
  • Compliance with FTLS (Flight time Limitations), Company procedures and Pilot Base Agreements.
  • Ensuring communications are responded to in agreed timeframes Pilot Queries, telephone calls, Live chat and email.
  • Interaction with other key departments Crew Control, Operations, Training, Scheduling LABS, HR and Payroll.
  • Constant improvements to processes, systems, manuals, check lists and the service we deliver to our pilots.
  • Accomplish other such duties as maybe reasonably directed by Head of Pilot Rostering

Including ad hoc project management.

Requirements

  • A highly motivated flexible individual with a disciplined outlook, demonstrated capacity for hard work and responsibility
  • Commercially aware amp; passion for the Low-Cost business model with focus on cost control
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken and ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with departments/ stakeholders
  • Strong verbal, written and analytical skills including report writing and presentation skills
  • Level-headed, calm and has the ability to think and respond appropriately in difficult situations
  • Experienced in dealing with employees and reporting weekly on key performance indicators
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and Rostering/Netline experience is desired.
