  • Equipment Specification and Selection: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify suitable plant and equipment options. Prepare technical specifications, evaluate proposals, and make informed recommendations on equipment selection.
  • Procurement: Engage with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment required for the projects.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of upgraded and new plant and equipment. Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards, industry regulations, and best practices. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality and performance of installed equipment.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Prioritise safety throughout the project lifecycle, identify potential risks, and implement necessary safety measures to protect employees and assets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process optimisation, efficiency enhancement, and operational improvements within the project management domain.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and management teams, to ensure smooth project execution and achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field).
  • Postgraduate studies in Project Management or Engineering would be advantageous.

  • New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical aptitude, understanding of engineering principles, and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating a drive for continuous improvement.
