Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for an ESG Specialist - Social to join the HR Team of Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Reporting to the HR Director, this brand new role will be based in our Global HQ in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working on a large number of ESG (Social) projects related to the People Dept.

With over 20,000 people working in Ryanair, your role will be varied, and you will work on all areas of the business including the Head Office, Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Operations, Engineering and IT. We are in a period of sustained growth with a further 150 new aircraft on order and plans to increase to over 225m passengers per year within the next 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the HR Director to define amp; drive key ESG social initiatives throughout the business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Ryanair group amp; guide them through key ESG changes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and guidelines related
  • Develop and manage ESG and CSR budgets, including tracking expenses and reporting on the ROI of ESG initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on Ryanair Group ESG (social) performance metrics, with a key focus on employee engagement
  • Work with internal teams to identify and integrate ESG including all B Corp and CSR initiatives into business operations.
  • Develop and deliver training on key ESG social issues/developments
  • Define internal communications strategy for ESG social throughout the business


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ESG including program development and execution, with a focus on social/HR
  • Strong knowledge of local and international ESG regulations and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing ESG social strategies that positively impact people amp; the business.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data and report on ESG social metrics
  • Interest in Human Resources and or previous HR experience highly desirable
