Position: Credit Control Team Leader

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: 40,000 per annum (DOE), Paid Monthly
Reporting to Credit Manager

Every day, as one of our Credit Control Team Leaders, is different. You’ll be expected to use your problem-solving skills to determine the most effective solution as well as managing staff and aiding in the recruitment process.
This role involves a lot of independent working and using your own initiative. Being able to manage your own time is essential.
Requirements
To be considered for the Team Leader position you will Ideally have the following;
- Supporting the Credit Manager with their decisions on how to improve the quality, efficiency and customer service provided by the Department,
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to assess, prioritize, and establish and reach monthly targets.
- Act as the point of contact for escalation of resolving collection issues and ensure their resolution.
- Continuously strive to enhance and streamline processes to meet the management's target for Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
- Aid the manager in generating ad hoc reports and handling special projects when required.
- Undertake additional relevant responsibilities as assigned periodically
- Support the desired organisational requirements to drive a culture of right first time throughout the finance division,
- Monitor adherence to all company policies/ procedures and highlight any deficiencies to your immediate manager,
- Attend and support regular team meetings,
- Encourage regular interaction with the sales team to develop relationships and teamwork,
- Encourage team building and communication within the division.,
- Manage, encourage and motivate all colleagues and self,
- Monitor inbound and outbound call volumes to reduce abandoned calls
- Provide support on top end key accounts
- Cover meeting and workload for the Credit Manager when required
Desired Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years Accounts Receivable experience.
- Knowledge of OTC processes life cycle
- Strong organization, time management and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Have demonstrated leadership skills in any work environment
- Have worked in or be ready for a fast-paced and varied work environment.
