Swrve, a MessageGears company, is looking for an iOS Engineer for our engineering team in Dublin.
Swrve is the customer engagement platform of choice for Digicel, Sony Pictures Television, Condè Nast, Playrix, and other top global brands. Requirements
- Proficiency in Objective-C is highly preferable for this position, as it is a critical technology for our development work on iOS, Android, and Unity platforms. Swift experience is also highly valued. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Java, C#, and React Native.
- A passion for mobile development coupled with a keen interest in current trends in mobile technology.
- The ability to suggest and get up to speed with new technologies or development practices as they are introduced.
- Great communicator, who thrives working in cross-functional product development teams.
- Highly motivated individual and a strong customer advocate, focused on contributing to the user experience.
- You should have experience with a variety of different mobile platforms, although experience with all the platforms and technologies we target is not required.
- We also maintain SDKs for our OTT platforms on Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and Smart TV (Tizen/Samsung, webOS/LG).
- Working closely with our product and customer teams, building out powerful features, and intuitive and forward looking APIs for our mobile and OTT SDKs.
- Taking ownership of your work; your code will be getting deployed to billions of mobile devices across the world - it needs to be robust and performant, while conserving device memory, battery, and data.
- Ensuring that our mobile SDK takes advantage of the latest platform technologies and tools; keeping abreast of upcoming platform updates and trends.
- Being an active participant in peer code reviews and release retrospectives; helping maintain high development standards across the team, striving for continuous improvement.
- Contributing directly to discussions and development of our product.
- The role will involve working with a mixed team of front-end/back-end and mobile developers, and close collaboration with our Product Design team.
